10-Year Limited Warranty
This Limited Warranty applies to all aluminum products—including bifold doors, French doors, multi-slides, pocket doors, windows, entry doors, and interior aluminum products—manufactured and/or sold by Grand Bifold Doors. Our products are built to match specifications provided by distributors and are intended for installation and use by the original end user in either residential or commercial applications, subject to the terms outlined below.
Products are warranted to be free from defects that would make them unserviceable or unfit for normal, intended use for a period of 10 years from the invoice date for residential use, and 5 years for commercial use. The "invoice date" refers to the date on the invoice issued by Grand Bifold Doors to the purchasing party.
Coverage Details
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. No distributor, dealer, or representative is authorized to modify this warranty.
Installation is the sole responsibility of the distributor, customer, contractor, or installer. Grand Bifold Doors is not liable for issues caused by third-party installation or modification. The warranty is void if the product is altered in any way from its original delivered condition.
In the event of a valid claim, Grand Bifold Doors will, at its sole discretion:
-
Repair the product, or
-
Replace the product in its original condition.
If a product is replaced, the new item will carry the remainder of the original warranty period. Labor, installation, finishing, or other incidental costs are not covered.
If any on-site warranty work is performed, the customer must provide safe access and assume responsibility for any equipment required to ensure worker safety. Defects must be reported within 5 days of delivery, or the product will be considered accepted and free of defects.
After this period, we offer a one-time free replacement for defective hardware. Shipping is the customer’s responsibility. Defective items must be returned to Grand Bifold Doors within 14 days of receiving a replacement, including all parts, accessories, and documentation. Customers must provide a valid payment card at the time of return request. If the defective item is not returned within the specified timeframe, your card may be charged.
Pre-Installation Responsibility
It is the buyer’s responsibility to inspect all products upon delivery and before removing or damaging any existing structures. If a product is incorrect or damaged, it must not be installed. Contact Grand Bifold Doors immediately to arrange for return and correction. Do not install a product that requires correction.
